The Muscle Couple has read for decades about the importance of sleep.
Most of us know about the many benefits 8 hours of sleep per night provides. The latest data coming from Sleep researchers is that the human body was built to have a mid-afternoon nap.

We Don't Recommend To Do It Like This!
As little as a 20 minutes is all that is needed for the following:
- Memory Boost
- Natural Energy reload
- Improved Mood and Sense of well being
- Performance increase(cognitive and physical)
Clearly for most of us working stiffs, this seems problematic. Where can you go to catch 20 mins of ZZZZ’s?
We recommend a couple of spots.
- In your car
- On a reclining office chair
- Somewhere tranquil in nature ie under a shady tree etc.
- A break room with a sofa
Obviously, all of them need to be quiet places where you can avoid interruption. And even if you aren’t able to do it during the work week, try to nap on your weekends
Give it a try for a couple of weeks and see how you feel. Make sure to always set your alarm to go off in 20 mins.
