There are volumes of research on the benefits of eating Salmon.  It’s especially a great dieter’s protein as it’s been shown to preferentially spare muscle protein stores in the absence of reduced kcals.

Nobody wants to lose muscle when dieting and Salmon ensures you won’t.

A quick bullet point list of it’s many amazing properties.

  • Loaded in Omega 3 Fatty Acids with their amazing ability to prevent sickness and heal
  • Astaxanthin(the antioxidant carotenoid that gives Salmon it’s pink color/glow)has recently been shown to elevate fax oxidation and reduce muscle damage during exercise
  • Loaded with Vitamin B-12
  • Loaded in Calcium
  • Loaded in Vitamin D
  • Packed with Lean Protein and even more EFA’s

We buy a couple of pounds at a time and slice it into “Bar-b-cue Cuts” and then marinade about 8-10 per week.

The rest we package in Tupperware and place in our freezer.  You can freeze it for a very long time without risk of it going bad.

It also offers a great replacement for Tuna when you buy it in a can.
