The Muscle Couple is constantly bombarded with requests for help with working out while traveling.

“What to do in your hotel room when there is no access to a gym or any real weight equipment?”

Look no further as we have an answer.

If Max Could Stay In a Hotel, He'd Train Like This Too!

If Max Could Stay In a Hotel, He'd Train Like This Too!

This program can be done right in the confines of your hotel room.  It will train your entire body either directly or indirectly.

To make it  easier to follow, we’ve included video demonstrations of each exercise.

Its best to perform these in one giant circuit 3x.  You can spice it up and do more reps and sets if you choose to not to perform it as a circuit.  Its highly adaptable to your unique situation.

Exercise 1--Pushups from Bed -30 Reps+

Exercise 2--Towel Isometric Pull 40 Secs+Max Contraction

Exercise 3--Tricep Pushups-15 Reps+

Exercise 4--Full Body Squats 40+ Reps

Exercise 5--Lying Ab Crunches <Contracting Your Rectus>20+

There are two Devices you can carry with you on your trips that can make this even easier:

The Elastic Bands can actually allow you to train all your bodyparts in different ways.  See the linked website for demonstrations of the exercises it offers.

The Muscle Couple recommends(to minimize travel issues and lack of room in suitcases/bags)the first program for simplicity and ease of execution.

Make sure you try this out the next time you hit the road.  Let us know how it works for you.

Next up “The Road Warrior Diet”.  We’ll discuss what to do when you land in a foreign land or town and want to maintain a modicum of “good nutrition” without access to the normal goodies in your kitchen/pantry.

Thera-band now makes bands with loops at the ends — thus a travel option that takes up practically ZERO space in your luggage. Carry-on warriors can carry a band or two in a jacket/suit pocket!

In my opinion these bands are an absolute MUST HAVE for any Road Warriors that often find themselves in hotels without resistance-based fitness options.
