The Muscle B is Walking Everywhere

April 3rd, 2009 · No Comments

Jees.  We leave for a week and  come back to find this rambunctious beautiful little girl running all over the place.  She is now on the loose and pretty much an unstoppable force.

You should see her climb the stairs?  Up and down, up and down.   She has seen her parents exercise so much she just wants to “fit in” and be a part of the action.  Anh’s Mom spends 15-20 minutes a day with her walking up the stairs.   She is already valuing the importance of exercise at 14 months old!!!!!

How you like dem apples?   Or the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree?  Genetics is truly a powerful force and difficult to deny in it’s transfer to our offspring.

We are so lucky to have her in our lives.   She is truly the light of our world.  Check her out.

Speaking of the world, it’s looking awfully bleak these days for a great many people in North America.  It’s as if the collective pockets of the  American consumer are now completely sewn shut.  Nobody is spending money save for food and gas.

My business is becoming more and more difficult by the day.  And from talking to people in many different industries, everybody is in the same boat.

We need a sea change in consumer confidence.  And with the bankruptcy of GM right around the corner, it’s hard to see it anytime soon.

The Muscle Couple’s best advice is to be very conservative with your money and to make sure you have enough to live off of for 4-6 months should you lose your jobTry and stay focused, remain positive and continue to network online by building out your personal brand.

In time our economy will improve, but for now we’re going to have to ride out this nasty ECONOMIC TSUNAMI!

MC Tip of the Day

Don’t feel guilty if work stressors, vacations or an illness forces you to go a week without training. It’s amazing what good time off will do in allowing our bodies time to rest and repair from the repeated traumas we give it from regular training.  Relax and enjoy your time off thinking about the renewed focus and enthusiasm you’ll possess when you begin your training anew.
